①Mobile phones enable children to contact their parents at any time. Being able to ask parents for a help when in trouble is a great thing without doubt.

②Children can get access to the Internet by using their smart phones, which allows them to learn many things online. For example, YouTube is a great way to study English.

③Children will get used to searching for information they need if they have their own mobile phones. This is one of the most important skills (that people need to obtain) in morden society.

①Children are quite likely to get involved in trouble if they own their mobile phones. It is not very difficult to meet someone that they do not know though the Internet, which can be rather dangerous.

②Having mobile phones can be so addictive (もしくはdisturbing) that they may spend much more time on their phones rather than studying. They should concentrate on their study instead of wasting their precious time.

①Students can learn how to cooperate with others while they are working, which is what they can rarely learn at school. Being able to work effectively in a group is an important skill.

②Having part-time work makes students realize how hard it is to earn money by themselves. As a result, they will be grateful to their parents that are supporting them financially, which is (of course) a great thing.

①Having part-time work is likely to prevent students from making academic progress because they will have to spend their precious time on working. This can make them too tired to study.

②It will be difficult for students to have enough rest if they are working. Today students are becoming much busier than they use to be. They should have more room to feel relaxed and get rid of stress.

①Students can keep(もしくはstay) fit if they belong to some sport club. Doing exercise only in PE class is not enough at all for them. Working out on a daily basis has a positive effect on their physical growth.

work out = 運動をする

②Students can learn to cooperate with others through club activities. They are likely to work hard to achieve a common goal that is shared with the other members, which will be a great experience to them.

①Club activities are likely to prevent students from making academic progress because they will have to spend their precious time on them. This can make students too tired to study.

②It will be difficult for students to have enough rest if they belong to some club. Today students are becoming busier than they use to be. They should have more room to feel relaxed and get rid of stress.

get rid of ~ = remove

③Students should spend more time with their family instead. Especially having conversation with parents is very important to build good relationship between them. Club activities apparently prevent this.

①Students may feel that helping others is a great joy. Once they realize that it is fulfilling to help someone, they will be considerate and try to help more people.

fulfilling ≒ meaningful

②Through volunteer work, students can get chances of meeting new people that they are not able to meet at school. Interacting with other people will inspire them and broaden their ways of thinking.

broaden = make something broad

①Doing volunteer work is likely to prevent students from making academic progress because they will have to spend their precious time on it. This can make them too tired to study.

②It will be difficult for students to have enough rest if they are doing volunteer work. Today students are becoming busier than they use to be. They should have more room to feel relaxed and refreshed.

③Students can not get anything even if they work very hard as a volunteer. Instead of wasting their time on something useless, they should study school subjects.

①Online shopping allows people in rural areas to enjoy purchasing products that they want. Generally speaking, there are so few shops in rural areas. Being able to shop online makes their lives much better.

②We can save a lot of time if we shop online because there is no need to take the trouble to go out and get to the shop. More things can be done by saving time.

There is no need to do~ = ~する必要はない
take the trouble to do~ = わざわざ~する

①Students can have a lot of opportunities to talk with native speakers, which will surely help them master the language. Being able to speak more than one language is highly advantageous.

advantageous = 有利な

②Students can learn different cultures and understand people who have different ways of thinking. This experience will help them because they are most likely to work with people from different backgrounds in the future.

①Studying abroad is basically too expensive for most people. Even if you can afford, there is no guarantee that you will achieve something. Paying a lot of money for things like this is too risky.

②Although most of the Japanese studying abroad are hoping to master English, there are already many ways to learn it in Japan. For example, you can practice speaking English in some online English school for much fairer price.

①Earlier you start learning English, more likely you are to master it successfully according to some research. Being able to use English effectively is a great skill that many people are desperate for.

be desperate for~ = strongly want~

②Scientists say that learning two languages at the same time has a great effect on children's brain. Those who have started learning English at an early age are said to be smarter than an average person in many cases.

①Moral education should be focused on rather than starting English at an early age. It is possible to master English at any point. On the other hand, later they start learning about morals, more difficult it will be to develop moral sense.

①Recently the number of people studying English has been gradually increasing in Japan. As a result, more and more Japanese people will travel abroad because it is one of the best ways to practice speaking English.

②Recently, there are a lot of good services that help people travel abroad comfortably. For instance, once you pay the fee for the service, you do not have to take the trouble to make plans and book hotels by yourself.

book = ~を予約する

③A lot of information is accessible today due to development of the Internet, and more and more people in Japan are becoming interested in foreign cultures. Since this trend is likely to continue, more people will travel abroad.

①People have become aware of the danger of travelling abroad. In fact, the world is getting more and more dangerous because of terrorism. It is much safer to stay in Japan than going abroad.

②Recently we are surrounded by a lot of different cultures even in Japan because of the increase in the number of tourists from other countries. People can enjoy interacting with foreigners without travelling abroad.

the number of~ = ~の数

③Some people are travelling abroad to seek for chances to speak English, but going overseas may be no longer necessary. In Japan, the number of foreigners has been increasing, which means there will be more opportunities to speak English in Japan.

①Many types of robots are emerging little by little. In fact some of them are already working to help people in many places such as factories and shopping malls. It is not long before they become common in our daily lives.

It is not long before~ = ~までは長くない→~はすぐだ

②Robots have surprisingly become common in many workplaces. They are much better at doing simple and boring tasks than human beings. Actually, people are being replaced with robots in a number of factories.

surprisingly = 驚くほどに、意外なほど

①Although robots are very helpful, they are too expensive to be common among ordinary people. Only a handful of rich people and big companies can afford to get one. There is still a long way to go to reduce the production cost.

②The government may prevent robots from being widely used because they can deprive people of their jobs. It is said that more than 50% of people's jobs can be done by robots. In order to prevent this, robots are likely to be regulated.

be widely used = 幅広く使われている

①Today a number of women are working just as men do. Female employees are also taking the same responsibility as male workers do. These are the evidence that women have much more opportunities to work than they used to.

②Recently it has become common for female workers to take maternity leave. A decade ago there was no choice but to give up working for giving birth and raising their baby. However, most women are now choosing to continue to work after a delivery.

①Female workers tend to be paid less compared to male workers in many workplaces, which is unfair. Something needs to be done to improve the situation so that women and men can work equally.

②The number of women returning to work after giving birth is relatively small. In Japan It is normally not fathers but mothers that are responsible for raising their child. This makes it hard for mothers to get back to work.

③There are so many housewives in Japan.  In contrast, there are so few male homemakers. This is the evidence that women can hardly get the same opportunities to work as men do.

①Renting an partment allows people to move away to a different place freely when they get bored of where they are. Being able to choose the place that they want to live in any time is wonderful.

②Renting an apartment can make life easier than having your own house. It will cost a lot to repair your house when it gets old. On the other hand, it is not you but the landlord who has to pay to repair your place when it gets old.

landlord = 大家さん、landlady = 女の大家さん

You cannot avoid caring about your next door neighbors if you are renting your place. This can be rather stressful because you always have to be careful not to bother them.

①living in a rural area is more comfortable than living in a big city. There are not any crowded places that can be stressful like Tokyo. Apparently people are under less pressure than those who live in cities.

②You can enjoy fresh air if you live in a rural area, which is almost impossible for those who live in big cities to experience (on a daily basis). Fresh air makes you refreshed anytime. This is also good for your health.

on a daily basis = 毎日(の頻度で)
on a weekly basis = 毎週(の頻度で)
on a regular basis = regularly =定期的に

①Living in a big city is very convenient. You can easily get access to whatever you need. In contrast, living in a rural area can be extremely inconvenient once you have got used to a big city.

②If you live in a big city, there are more chances of meeting new people that you will never meet in rural areas. Interacting with them will inspire you and broaden your ways of thinking.

①The number of people who read newspaper has been gradually declining. This is because martphones are widely used recently to get information instead of newspaper. This trend is most likely to continue.

decline = go down

②Recently a large number of pieces of information are available on the Internet. In fact all of the news that appear on newspaper can be found online. Because of this, more and more people will leave their newspaper.

たくさんの情報は a lot of information でいいんですが、表現に幅を持たせるために敢えて、a large number of pieces of information と大袈裟にくどい書き方をしています。

①Newspaper allows people to get a lot of information that they need to know. Although you can see the news online as well, newspaper is more useful because you do not need to search for information by yourself.

①E-books are much easier to carry around compared to paper books, which is really helpful. When people feel like reading some books outside their places, all they have to take with them is a device in which digital books are stored.

②E-books never occupy a lot of space unlike paper books. No matter how many digital books you read, you do not have to throw any of them away. This is surprisingly good for book lovers.

occupy = take up

①Many people still love paper books. In fact book lovers enjoy how it feels when turning the page. Some enthusiastic fans of paper books even love the smell of paper. These kinds of people will never leave paper books.

a fan of ~ = ~のファン
enthusiastic = 熱狂的な

②Most people will not choose E-books because their eyesight could be worse. Keeping on reading sentences for a long time on the screen can be so tiring and harmful that people would rather read paper books.

would rather do~ = むしろ~したい
